# Henry Livingston Jr. verse corpus - MANIFEST

Built from the Wayback Machine captures (2024-25) of Mary S. Van Deusen's site henrylivingston.com. One file per poem, header block then text; one verse line per text line, blank line between stanzas; site spelling and punctuation retained (no modernization); editorial queries, footnote markers, stanza numerals and headnotes removed from the bodies (headnotes are quoted in the notes field).

Attribution scale (mapped from the site's own tiers): **certain** = in Livingston's own hand (manuscript poetry book, daughter Jane's book, loose autograph drafts, tombstone) or signed with his name; **probable** = signed "R" in the Poughkeepsie Journal / New-York Magazine / New-York Weekly Museum in the years when "R" is documented as Livingston, or attributed by descendants / family ownership of the printed copy; **doubtful** = attributed by Van Deusen on style alone (unsigned carrier addresses etc.), or signed R/other pseudonyms in other periodicals or late.
