The bay was crowded with steamer.- all morning, filled with j eager spectators, who seemed disap pointed at the unwonted delay in the i race. The Columbia I was not in good trim for the race, and did not do as well as her friends could have wished. The Livonia sped along and passed the first one mile ahead of the Columbia. The wind was blowing very hard outside the Hook, the wa\es roiling very high.
