A petition was filed on saturday afternoon against the Guardian Saviogs Institution, fn the United States Dis triet Court, to have it declared a bankrupt, The nets of bankruptcy charged are that it frandulently stopped payment of its debts, and that it cansed ite property to be taken under legal process by the Receiver appointed by the Sapreme Cowit. Anvinjunction preventing the dwpositiou of the property of the bank has also been sseucd. The petition is filed at the instance of Julius Ascher, a depositor iu the bank, sud is made returuabl next Saturday.
