certain “Medical Colleges” in that eity, 1s one from a
gentleman professing to be A physician, He states that
efforts have been wade to implicate the diploma wan
mfacturers in the sale of diplomas, by members of the
degitinate profession, who have succeeded to a certain
extent; that they Lave secured diplomas of the Uni
wersity of Medicine and Burgery, which Dr. Paine sold to
one Morang, 8 negro, for $0, to one Rogers, a Dock-st.
Berd doctor, and five or six others, The holders of these
documents will swear that they were obtained fu the
manner stated. He affirms, further, that they have algo
