Tho body of a man was found in tho river at
Erie street bridge. It was identified as that ot
Martin Lunt. tbe assistant bridco loader, vfho
jumped from a boat in which wero bis house
hold goods, which ho was taking to a place of
safety, and wo* drowned.
Another body, that of a young man about 25
years of axe, was found in tho river near Chi
cago avenue bridge.
The body of a man. burned to crisp, was
taken from* the ruins on Grant street, near La
