After\nthe anti-Brice men had won a signal\nvictory in the election 8f chairman, a\nmotion was made that the chairman ap\npoint a committee of seven to name dele\ngates to the State convention, which ec\neurs at Springfield next week. This pre\ncipitated the fight. The Brice gold men\nhowled and stormed, and finally withdrew\nfrom the convention and eiected dele\ngates of thelr own.
