used to settle which of William Poundstone's books discusses the Beale ciphers. Big Secrets (1983, item
bigsecretsuncens00poun) has no Beale material (its only hit for "Beale" is an unrelated author, Lieutenant Beale Cormack).
Biggest Secrets (1993, item biggestsecretsmo00poun_0) has a chapter "The Beale Cipher", pp. 116-134 by its index, including
the stylometric comparison with Poe ("The pamphleteer and Beale both use far fewer commas ..."). Wikipedia's "1983" for
the stylometric analysis is therefore wrong; the book is Biggest Secrets (1993). Neither book was read in full.
